Baby Check-up Update

Mr. Moose and I went to my baby doctor today. I gave them a urine sample (as usual) had my blood pressure checked (it is normal) and was weighed (okay, I'm NOT sharing that!).
My doctor said everything lis looking wonderful and that our son & I are looking "perfect". I even told him how it feels to have our little one move about. He grinned and I knew he totally understood. (He's a Daddy, too.)
Having a normal, worry-free pregnancy is such a wonderful blessing. We are both so happy that our baby is growing and developing as he should. It is an answered prayer, as well. Both for us and for our loved ones.

Praise God and his wonderfulness!

Random Rambles

I'm am so frustrated!

It took me nearly 2 hours to get onto the Internet this morning!

Sometimes it's "slow" to connect when it's rained a good deal. Which it has because of Tropical Storm Fay.

Also, we have a "baby appointment" today at 1:15. No doubt I'll have to provide a urine specimen. I always do. Wonder what my doc will do today? I'll update you all a little later today when I catch hubby off the computer!

Have a good day, all!

Loneliness....

I've been feeling lonely lately. I know I should be enjoying the "quiet time" before our son arrives, but I am just so down right now. I told my hubby and he says it's just my hormones. I guess he's right. The thing is, I know I'm never alone with my baby moving around inside me, but sometimes I need more than just that. He is unable to speak or to interact with me right now.
Am I crazy?

Blog Post "Signature"

I got this idea from a friend who has her name as a "signature" at the end of her blog posts. And since copying someone is the sincerest form of flattery, I thought I'd "steal" her idea.

What do you think? I will be posting this at the end of all my posts now.

I got it from mylivesignature.com.

Mrs. Moose Recommends....

My favorite book:

Seriously, if you are planning on becoming or are already pregnant, this book is worth it's weight in gold! :D

Scrapbooks & Letters...

Yesterday, I tried to add all the page protectors necessary to Baby Moose's Family Tree Scrapbook. They would not fit!

I bought another album with extra room for extra pages. It's blue and I plan on decorating it similar to the tan one in the pic below.

I never even considered that all of the pages wouldn't fit. DUH!

Also, my friend LYNDA sent me an email yesterday suggesting writing a letter to our son before he is born. This is such a great idea! I plan on beginning it today or tomorrow. Thanks, Lynda, for the wonderful suggestion!

See you all next time! :D

Scrapbook Update

Here is a pic of the front of Baby Moose's Family Tree Scrapbook.

I've done some pages inside also, but I've been informed not to share personal information over the Internet. You know, for our safety.

What do you think? I free-handed the tree trunk and the "leaves" are punches from various colored cardstock.

I hope this will be a memento for Baby Moose (and possibly his siblings) for years to come.

NEAT!

Family Tree Scrapbook Update...

I mailed out some "info sheets" to my family and Mr. Moose's. Hopefully, I will begin getting them back soon.
I knew most of the information already, I just wanted to verify what I have.
I'm also considering having a few pages dedicated to any letters or words anyone wants to write to Baby Moose. This will give his book a "Personal Touch", you know?
Sadly, Some of Mr. Moose's family members pages won't have pics, because he has an Aunt who refuses to allow us to make copies of family photos. What sense does that make? I mean, I don't want the originals, I just want to make copies. Go figure. She's that way and I feel sorry everyone in our family is missing out because she's so dern greedy.
Any who, I've begun make the front page for Baby Moose's book. I think it will turn out nice. I'm so jazzed about it, already.
Wish me luck!

A New Project For Mommy Moose

I'm thinking about doing a scrapbook focused on Baby Moose's Family Tree. His daddy and I, our families (grandparent's pages, parent's siblings pages, etc.) You know, with pics and info like complete names, birthdays, likes/dislikes, etc. I even plan on putting a pic of a "tree" on the cover! :D

I was inspired by a book I checked out at the library yesterday. The Art Of The Family Tree by Jenn Mason.

I've already been working on a prepartem scrapbook. So far, it's turned out pretty nice. It's something I enjoy doing, after chores, and before bedtime. It's an activity I can do while sitting on my hiney (BIG surprise!) while Daddy Moose plays his games upstairs.
I hope this new scrapbook will be a success as well.

What a cute lil' boy!

I've been staring at Baby Mooses's sonogram. (Duh) My friend, Lynda, commented on how cute his little button nose is.
I have said his nose looks just like his Daddy's since Thursday. I guess we'll find out either in his 4D sonogram or after he gets here. <----lotsa things will be determined then! :D
I love him so much, already. He hasn't even been born yet, but I already know he's loved, spoiled, etc. by everyone we know.
I'm still soooooo excited.
I just hope we'll be good parents. If love was enough to rear a child, then Baby Moose and my sissy and I, had and will have the absolute best childhood ever. If Mr. Moose and I could be a fraction of the way my parents were (and still are) with my sister and I, then I'd be ecstatic!
